An advantage of a Nortel BCM phone system is the ease in which it can be upgraded and features added. Nortel systems come with all the hardware already installed, meaning if you wanted to add voicemail, all you would need to do is purchase a licence (which can be purchased per user, or as a bundle of users), install the licence and then the feature is added. There is no need for any further hardware to be purchased and installed.
