To the delight of du Pré's IT department Barry Anns, Operations Manager, announced du Pré had been accredited with the rare Microsoft Gold Status.
'We were delighted to receive the Microsoft Gold Partner award which not only recognises our technical excellence but acknowledges customer confidence in our ability to deliver Microsoft products and services,' said Barry.
Which variant of Gold Partner Status?
The Advanced Infrastructure Solutions Competency, proves du Pré's ability to design and implement complex solutions using Microsoft products.
What did it take?
Jeff Elliott, MD, explained, 'Presenting customer case studies as evidence of our skills and capabilities was an essential part of the accreditation process.'
Continuing, Jeff said, 'We chose to select customers who used a wide range of our Microsoft services and whose systems had a high degree of complexity.
'It was a pleasure to work with these customers and the feedback we received from them was very encouraging and made the exercise very worthwhile.'
What does this do for du Pré's customers?
'Attaining the Microsoft Gold Award, said Barry, 'demonstrates du Pré has in depth knowledge of Microsoft products, as well as the ability to use them to provide high level solutions for our customers.'
In giving praise to the IT Engineer who pioneered the work, Barry said, 'We must acknowledge the work of one of our Senior IT Engineers, Andrew Astley, who put a great deal of work into achieving the award.'
