The Tower's auditorium was nearly filled to capacity with guests invited by both Hebron and du Pré. Nearly all were heavily involved in education.
The Speakers were all leading IT experts in the field of Education. Their messages were clear, directional, and challenging.

“The UK Government will soon release the findings of its investigations into electronic learning in the UK.
'This is in line with the EU Learning Strategy which, amongst other things, proposes the introduction of an E-Learning programme, digital literacy and virtual campuses.”
“If these types of initiatives are to succeed,” continued Mr Rendel, “companies such as du Pré plc will be an integral part of their implementation, enriching the towns in which they operate by providing employment opportunities.”
Mr Rendel went on to praise du Pré for achieving 25 years in business, and underlined the importance of the company’s products and services in the UK education market.
Champagne at the Top of the Tower
Following the seminar, a party was held at the Top of the Tower on the revolving 34th floor. Champagne flowed, accompanied by an excellent buffet.Jeff Elliott, MD of du Pré plc said, “Education is an important market for du Pré and we have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with the Independent Schools.
“It was fitting, therefore, that we should ask our customers to join us in celebrating 25 years in business at the magnificent BT Tower.”
