News - du Pré attains even higher Cisco Qualifications

Another Cisco qualification has been achieved through the hard work and study of Howard Hooper, Senior IT Helpdesk Engineer, du Pré plc.

Having joined the company two years ago as a ‘Cisco Certified Network Associate’ (CCNA), Howard has continued to work towards the next level of Cisco certification and has now achieved the ‘Cisco Certified Network Professional’ (CCNP) qualification.

Fast Learner

The CCNP consisted of four separate exams,

• Routing
• Switching
• Remote Access & Wireless
• Quality of Service (QoS)

Howard flew through this sought after qualification in just five months.

Straight to work

‘It was hard work, but well worth it,’ said Howard. ‘I’m already using these skills by consulting with one of our customers which is looking to carry out a complete overhaul of their data networking’.

An Expert in the making

Howard has not stopped though. He is continuing to study to become a ‘Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert’ (CCIE). This is an exceptionally desirable qualification with a pass rate of just 3% around the globe.
