Avaya and du Pré launch a Scrappage Scheme

du Pré is pleased to announce that Avaya has released details of a new scheme aimed at helping schools and businesses switch telephone systems.

Similar to the current Government initiative to reward drivers for scrapping their old car, Avaya is offering cash rewards to people who swap their existing telephone systems for a new Avaya model.

Furthermore, du Pré has added to this incentive two further reasons to swap by providing 0% finance deals and ensuring schools receive a summer installation in time for next term.

The IP500 Telephone System from Avaya

The Avaya IP500 telephone system includes some very useful features, such as the ability to link straight into Microsoft Outlook for true Unified Communications. This enables (for example) voicemail messages to be emailed and then saved as a .wav file, meaning you can keep it for ever and access it whenever you want.

The system will also interface seamlessly with CRM and Accounting systems, such as ACT! and Goldmine. Amongst other things, this allows calls to be made directly from the software – a small, yet highly convenient, feature of the system.
