Praise from R & B Star
as du Pré plc resolves major IT problem |

Andrew Robertson, Director at R&B Star Electrical Wholesalers, represented another satisfied du Pré customer as he commented on the recent work the Support Team had completed in helping out his company.
R&B Star relies on du Pré for the support of their Avaya IP Office telephone system, as well as their Opal 2Mb leased line and Cisco routers.
Inbound emails issue
du Pré's IT Support came to the rescue when R&B Star discovered they had an issue with receiving inbound emails. The problem could have been caused by any number of specifics, but the Support Team continued working until the cause was identified and resolved.
Commenting on the response from du Pré, Andrew Robertson said, "I cannot speak highly enough of your staff and the way they have handled themselves.
"Over the last two days I have been under a lot of pressure to get the problem fixed quickly and this would not have been possible without your assistance!" continued Andrew.
The root of the problem was down to the McAfee anti-virus software contributing to a build-up of undeleted files, causing the Exchange server to stop functioning. Once this happens, emails will not be sent through until the build-up is cleared.
Customer Support
du Pré’s Service Delivery Manager, Maxine Chadderton, praised her team for what she considers to be a business-as-usual response.
"My team prioritises customer faults to ensure a quick resolution is always provided," she said. "We’ve always been passionate about high levels of customer satisfaction, but it’s always good to hear first-hand how it makes such a difference to customers."
About Maxine and the Support Team
Maxine joined du Pré plc in 1996 and has always been in a customer service role. In the early days, Maxine was responsible for customers who had what are now considered to be 'straightforward' telephone systems, all supplied by du Pré.
As the company incorporated the supply of IT, Maxine encompassed the supporting of these within her role in the Support Team, and today she ensures a high service level for all customers, many of which have upgraded to some of the most sophisticated of Cisco and Samsung IP Telephony, and Microsoft IP networks.
