Newbury-based du Pré plc embraced the ‘Dare to Wear it Pink’ campaign today with all staff in the IT and telecoms provider taking part to raise funds for Breast Cancer Campaign.

Fund Raising

Amy Allen, Support Controller in du Pré's Operations department, was particularly excited about the campaign.

‘I’m not sure how much we’ve raised so far, but I’m sure it’s more than last year!’ she said, before taking a call from one of our customers.

And Amy should know. She is a key player in fund raising campaigns, encouraging all staff in the company to participate. Every member of staff was happy to contribute to this worthwhile cause by wearing pink while taking calls from UK businesses about their IT and telephony issues.

About the Charity

The UK Breast Cancer Campaign seeks to raise awareness throughout the country by organising events in businesses and organisations to generate funds for treating people with breast cancer.

This year, Breast Cancer Campaign dared everyone in the UK to wear an item of pink on Friday 31 October and to donate £2 each to the charity to help us beat breast cancer.
