du Pré Connect, our business grade VoIP telephone system has received a routine upgrade that enables a new range of entry-level handsets to be available, while the du Pré Mobile Connect  service now has enhanced voicemail capability.

Joining the choice of handsets is Cisco’s new entry level SPA502 and SPA504 models. The Cisco SPA 502 handset is a one-line IP Phone, ideal for users who only require a basic level phone, while the Cisco SPA504 handset offers up to four programmable IP lines.

The SPA502 and SPA504 handsets are suitable for business and home use. Their features include:

• Full use on PoE (Power over Ethernet) network switches.
• Dual Ethernet ports, enabling a computer and phone to share the same Cat 5 port.

du Pré Mobile Connect

du Pré Mobile Connect is our recently introduced service that places your four digit Connect extension number on your smart phone whenever you are in range of 3G or WiFi signals.  Now each du Pré Mobile Connect user has a unique voicemail box, making the retrieval of voicemail easier for users working away from the office.

This upgrade illustrates well the benefits du Pré Connect as a future-proof, scalable telephone system. It is a fully managed VoIP telephone solution; all software upgrades are free of charge removing the capital cost of hardware when upgrading more traditional systems. du Pré Connect calls can be made from Cisco handsets, through a laptop or via smart device.
