Business Calls and Lines fault response improvements
Business telephone calls and lines provider, du Pré plc based in Newbury, Berkshire, has upgraded its business PSTN and ISDN telephone line customers to a higher Care Level with BT Openreach. This enhanced commitment to its customers now includes the ability to report a line fault 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
As well as 24 hour fault reporting, du Pré calls and lines customers will also benefit from Saturday line fault investigation, and an improved service level agreement which includes fault clearance by the end of the next working day*.
Upgrade to same day fault repair
For businesses that need enhanced service, such as for lines that are connected to a fire or burglar alarm system, customers can opt for Care Level 3 service. Benefits of upgrading for a small additional monthly fee include:
- Monday - Sunday fault investigation by Openreach, including public and Bank Holidays
- Option of ‘out of hours’ appointments to minimise disruption
- Same day fault clearance*
Rapid support for the 24/7 business
For business critical telephone lines customers can upgrade to Care Level 4 which offers an even faster response from Openreach. Included as part of the Care Level 4 package is a six-hour fix, regardless of the time the fault is reported. For example if an alarm line develops a fault at midnight, du Pré can raise a fault and Openreach will aim to have it fixed by 06:00.
Care Level 4 benefits:
- Monday - Sunday fault investigation by Openreach, including public and Bank Holidays
- Option of ‘out of hours’ appointments to minimise disruption
- Fault clearance within six hours from when a fault report has been accepted
