New Cisco IP handsets for VoIP
New Cisco telephone handsets have been announced which will improve further the Voice over IP service offered by du Pré Connect, the IP telephony solution for businesses needing flexible working and disaster recovery solutions.
du Pré Connect is a market-leading service for companies needing business-grade IP telephony services included with their telephone system. This allows a telephone system to be used in both a traditional and innovative way.
The new Cisco handsets include the Cisco 7942, 7945, 7962, 7965 and the Cisco 7975 handsets. Each of these comes with new, improved software which makes the service more future proof.
Jon Dawkins, Telephony Technical Manager at du Pré plc, explained how the Cisco handsets are more future proof. "The big difference is the new software on the Cisco handsets. They are fully equipped and ready for IPv6 which demonstrates how ahead of their time they are. Most people haven't even started using this level of technology yet."
du Pré has included all the new Cisco handsets in its hosted VoIP telephone service, du Pré Connect.
