du Pré recruits new Technical Director
Barry Anns, a highly qualified Microsoft and Cisco IT engineer, has been promoted to Technical Director of du Pré plc.
Originally, Barry joined du Pré as a Project Controller before moving into IT engineering having self-studied for the highest of Microsoft qualifications.
With a heart for customer service, Barry is well placed to lead the company into the new range of Cisco IP products.
When the announcement was made to the staff, Barry said, 'My new role involves product and support direction, as well as working with our Major Account customers. I can't wait to get going - it all boils down to customer service.'
Barry is a keen amateur cyclist, having recently embarked upon his second sponsored cycling trip to Brazil which he completed in August. He previously carried out a similar cycling trip Cuba in February 2004. For exercise, Barry is working towards his black belt in the martial art of Judo. Barry is engaged and plans to marry Charlotte, in May 2006.
