du Pré goes 'over and above the call of duty'
A report from Ian Snaith, Ambassador PackagingDuring the last weekend in October, Ambassador Packaging conducted an electrical test which required the powering down of all the electrical equipment.
Unfortunately the ISDN 30 connected to our Panasonic switch failed to operate when we restored power.
I called the du Pré 24 hour support line about 7pm on Sunday night, and left a message, not expecting a response until Monday morning.
Within 5 minutes, du Pré's Technical Manager phoned me, closely followed by du Pré's Customer Support Manager. The problem was diagnosed and resolved within 1 hour, and all was well in the world.
I am sometimes quick to complain when things go wrong, and it is nice occasionally to pass on thanks when service such as this is received, 'over and above the call of duty'.
