High speed, uncontended Ethernet circuits
Generic Ethernet Access (GEA) is one of the latest technologies within the Ethernet services which harnesses copper technology between the cabinet and the premises. The circuits works similarly to FTTC with fibre to the cabinet but unlike FTTC, the connection is presented as Ethernet. GEA is uncontended and symmetrical and has guaranteed higher speeds of up to 20Mbps. Whether you’re a small or large business or school, GEA can be suitable for your needs.
Speeds up to 20Mbps
Quality of Service (QoS) for voice and data services
Static IP Addresses
Ethernet First Mile (EFM) uses existing copper infrastructure to provide high-speed, resilient and symmetrical connectivity. As well as being highly cost-effective, EFM also has a shorter install time compared to other Ethernet connections and can offer the bandwidth needed to support remote workers. Many technologies can benefit from EFM’s reliability, such as Video Conferencing.
